Cheeky Monkees has always been regarded as an exceptionally clean and safe venue and we have always operated to a very high standard.
However, in response to Covid-19, we have now increased our safety and hygiene measures to levels far and above the Government recommended guidelines.
We have reduced our visitor numbers right down to just one third of our visitor capacity, to ensure safe social distancing
For us to operate with a reduced capacity in a safe and secure way, and to avoid any disappointment, all visitors will need to book online timed slots
We are checking our visitor’s temperature on arrival with a non-contact infra-red thermometer. If you are displaying signs of a high fever (37.8 degrees Celsius or greater), we can refund your admission fee or rearrange you visit for a future date.
We have taken out lots of chairs and tables to ensure that family groups are well separated. All tables are positioned over 2m away from any other table.
Protecting both you and us
Hand sanitiser units have been placed at the entrance to every enclosed area. We're also offering sanitiser to everyone before entry.
Team members will be cleaning door handles and other touch points throughout the day. Obviously, if there are any areas you would like us to particularly focus on, please speak to any member of the team.
We now have single use, disposable menus. Wrapped cutlery and sauce sachets will be handed to you once food is ordered and we encourage contactless payments whenever possible.
We have taken out all the balls from our ball pools.
The Government ruling regarding face coverings for indoor play centres is: "Adult customers and children aged 11 and over will be required to wear a face covering before entering and keep it on until they leave, except when eating or drinking at your table, or when entering/whilst in the play frame".
The new Government ruling that people cannot socialise in groups of more than 6 does apply to your visit to Cheeky Monkees.
To make sure our safety measures work effectively, we ask all visitors to work with us to help us all keep covid-safe. The most important new ruling is that any children that cannot always practise social distancing on their own must be accompanied by an adult. This is especially important to comply with new Government guidelines.
